INTERNSHIP AND PLACEMENT
Students have to undergo two compulsory internships: with a development organisation in the first semester; with a PR/Advertising agency or a newspaper/TV channel in the second semester. In the third semester they work as trainees for a longer duration in their area of specialisation. The final placements will be in the fourth semester.
Commits follows a proactive placement policy by allowing the students to take up jobs in the fourth semester itself. Since a majority of the students have taken bank loans it will help them to earn and repay their loans faster.
Commits aims not to place students but to make students placement-worthy. Towards this end Commits creates a near real-life work situation at college to prepare students to face the challenges of the real world. Commits students get offers from leading media organisations as early as their third semester. Commits students are always appreciated for their grasp of the subject, alertness, hard work and comprehensive skill sets.
