ANUJA SENGUPTA (CLASS OF 2018)

IS THERE ANY OTHER COLLEGE LIKE COMMITS? NO, I DON’T THINK SO.

When I first joined Commits, it was an overwhelming experience because as classes began I slowly realised that there was so much happening in the professional world about which I was clueless. There soon came a point when my classmates and I had no option but to wrap our heads around the fact that it is impossible to escape reading while studying at Commits. After all, to be a media professional you need to be good at writing, and to be a good writer you have to read.

At Commits you can do exactly that, thanks to the wonderful college library. It is well-stocked with books belonging to different genres, from science fiction to self-help to, of course, journalism and writing. The best part about our library is that it is easily accessible to us. I never needed to worry about laying my hands on relevant study material during our university exams because the library has everything we need. I am eternally grateful to be a student at a college where my professors are so kind and approachable, where when you show interest in reading a particular book they encourage you and actually buy it for you.
