WHAT INDUSTRY SAYS

“It was a pleasure for me to finally meet up with Team Commits. It surely seems like one hell of a happy place!” — VASANTHI HARIPRAKASH, Media Professional and Former NDTV Journalist, after an evaluation session with the journalism students

“The music videos produced by Commits students are ‘incredile’, can’t believe they were made by college kids.” – LESLE LEWIS, Music Composer and Signer

“Our experience with Commits students has been wonderful and their participation and contribution has been equally good. They were disciplined and their demeanour was one of commitment and eagerness to learn. A large part of the credit should go to Commits for the way they have been groomed. The Akshaya Patra Foundation welcomes interns from Commits in the future as well.” – BHARATI GHANASHYAM, Head of PR and Corporate Communications, Akshaya Patra Foundation

“I teach in many other places, but Commits is the only place I keep coming back to because of the tremendous energy here. The students here are very youthful and they bring a quality of freshness with them.” – UMA MAGAL, CEO, Fenugreek Productions

“Commits wants to learn and adapt constantly from the industry and their industry interface is an integral part of the curriculum.” – SUNDER MADAKSHIRA, Head Marketing at Adobe India

“I have seen the management of Commits clearly committed to the growth of students; and its focus on discipline and exposure to the real workplace offers competitive advantage to the students.” – NANDITA LAKSHMANAN, CEO. The PRactice

“I always love coming to Commits and interacting with your students. They are all very bright and are open to constructive criticism, which is important. Also, it was really nice to see such confident ex-students on the panel. They are the ones that straddle both worlds having just begun to work, so their criticism is the best.” – MARIANNE DE NAZARETH, Senior Journalist

It was a pleasure interacting with the students and with all of you. I must admit I was quite impressed with the work the students have produced. Congratulations to Commits for quality work. — SASWATI CHAKRAVARTY, Senior Journalist and Chief Editor of Bhasha News Media

Great show by a group of dedicated students. It was hard to believe this was their first time doing the show. Collectively, they appear to have a keen nose for local news and did a pretty impressive job of putting together four news bulletins. It was wonderful to see how open the students were to get feedback that would help them improve their storytelling skills. I wish them every success in their career. Thank you for the opportunity to come and visit the students and be part of the whole process. — KAMLA BHAT, Host and Producer of the award-winning internet radio show, “The Kamla Show”
